Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a person who leaped a fence and seized the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video depicts the Australian man shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the cast walked down a event pathway accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "released after being arrested", though official papers revealed that he was due to be present on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Record of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram account features recordings of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last December.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user remarked.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Several fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had revealed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further comment on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while some demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The film, to be premiered on 21 November, is the follow-up of a dual interpretation of the popular Broadway and West End production Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected relationship between two very different characters.

The show itself is a derivative of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a rosé sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were joined by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and earned a dozen Academy Award nods, earning a pair for outstanding attire and production design.
