The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
