She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 balls as she attacked short-pitched balls, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

Once she was removed her side needed 66 more at a run-a-ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I'm pleased we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

Over the past five days a sense they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this triumph following win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
