200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (makes 850ml, to serve 10)

Method
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Combine every components inside a saucepan, heat until it reaches a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the heat allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Pour into an sterilised bottle, seal and store chilled, it can be stored for around one month.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Pour all the liquids in a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for an hour, then filter it best through muslin, to ensure it's completely strained.
To serve: Pour 85ml of the batch mix to a stirring glass containing ice, and agitate gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Filter into a cold coupe glass or similar, decorate with the cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
