The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
